Due to the problem of plastic waste, "de-plasticization" has become a global issue.
As a plastic molding company, Aska Company is committed to the realization of a sustainable society under its duties and responsibilities.

 

Aska Company's Environmental Policy

Based on the Ministry of the Environment's national policy (Plastic Resource Recycling Strategy), we have set policies and specific initiatives to be achieved in the future.

We have established an "Environmental Team" to address these five themes.

1. Reduction of plastic usage per product

Realization of thinner and lighter products by product design

Development of spout caps for pouch containers

2. Enhance efforts to mono-materials

Product design with recyclability in mind

Proposal of resins suitable for mono-materialization

3. Promotion of upcycling of in-house processing losses

Upcycling is to add value to items scheduled for disposal by modifying them and transforming them into new products.

Social implementation of products using 100% raw materials extracted from losses in in-house manufacturing processes

Promotion of pre-consumer recycling

4. Proposal for optimal biomass plastics

Proposals and prototype evaluations for social implementation of biomass plastics

Acquisition of "ISCC Plus Certification" as an adaptation to the mass balance method.

Sugar (plant-derived) biomass plastic

5. External collaboration and cooperation

Through external collaboration and endorsement of national initiatives, we aim to implement products that reduce greenhouse gas emissions

Membership in CLOMA

Participation in MBBP (Marine Biodegradable Biomass Plastic Development Platform)
