Various efforts are being made worldwide to solve these problems.
To fulfill our responsibility as a plastic molding and processing manufacturer, we are working on the development and sale of our own products that contribute to reducing waste, developing products in line with plastic resource recycling strategies, and improving productivity by making energy consumption and production status visible.

The Aska Company is promoting company-wide initiatives to reduce greenhouse gas emissions under the leadership of the GX Promotion Team.
Based on the Ministry of the Environment's national policy (Plastic Resource Recycling Strategy), we have set policies and specific initiatives to be achieved in the future.

(Spout and film sections are both made of PET resin)
We are developing a practical PET spout pouch with a PET spout and PET film that is more compatible with social recycling than the common PE or PP spout/pouch film.
Development of PE Spout with High Barrier Property
(Spout and film sections are both PE resin)
To enhance the usefulness of spout pouches and promote their operation, we are improving the oxygen barrier properties of polyethylene spout pouches (to prevent deterioration of the contents, which in turn leads to measures against food loss).

As a molding company, we are cooperating on operational aspects, such as whether the resins developed in the development of marine biodegradable biomass plastics can actually be molded.

Kato Summer COOL CHOICE
We continue to participate in the regional environmental event Kato Summer COOL CHOICE in Kato City, Hyogo Prefecture, where Aska Company's head office is located, to provide local residents with information on the environmental measures we are taking, what kind of environmental measures are available, what we should do, and so on. We have also created booklets for children to make the information easier to understand.
